The history of the American USA frontier and heartbreak it cause and is still causing in the American Indian culture. Who does not know this? My spirit feel their sorrow because it is a story that is very similar to ours, we were stolen from our land, and their land was stolen from them. Some captured and enslaved, killed etc same as us. We have common wounds not yet healed but through art we are working through the trauma and acknowledging the horror and pain our ancestors have gone through and thus each piece for me is triumphant victory.
